# Tasks

Brands are creating social media and on-chain tasks on a regular basis every day.

There are two types of tasks:

### 1. Main Tasks

Main tasks include platform connection tasks and tasks for Midle's social media platforms.

A new user must connect their social media accounts to Midle in order to complete tasks. Platform connection tasks such as Metamask, Twitter, Discord are all rewarded with 250 points.

### 2. Brand Tasks

Brand tasks cover the tasks that brands create. Brands create tasks such as X Follow, X Post Like, Join Discord etc. The points determined by brands for these tasks are distributed to users who complete the tasks.

Brand Tasks appear in Midle as follows:

**Task Title:** Requirement for completing the task \
**Time Remaining:** The time remaining to complete the task \
**Point:** The amount of points users will earn for completing the task \
**Brand:** The brand that created the task

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://midle.gitbook.io/midle/features/tasks.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
